Hello, just got my Civic less than a month. I wasn't going write about this until this salesman in KL area really crossed the line. Maybe they're earning money too fast and too easy from the hot selling 8th gen Civic.

Everything was nice and polite before I placed the deposit, it changed right after day I placed the deposit. This salesman gave blind promises, never follow up for the delivery status, changes in new prices. When I called up to ask, he simply gave me disrespectful reply, told me not to call him, he'll call me, but the truth is he never calls.

When I picked up the car, he's again nice and polite because there was feedback form to fill. I left the part on follow up calls blank, I should have put the lowest point for this guy. Well, now I'm oversea on a job assignment, my family is taking care of the new car for me, and it's the time to call up for 1st service. The lousy attitude of this salesman came back, he's simply not interested in serving his customer. This really made me mad.

What can we do about people like this? Are they really earning too much from us?

New Era, opposite Tong Shin hospital. This probably will not help, but I am thinking of writing to Honda Malaysia and complain.

i think most SA behave the same.... Before the deposit, they will be extra polite. Say this ok that ok, no problem and don't worry la.

My SA is about the same. U can sense they will get a bit impatient when u demand more things from them, that is after u pay all the deposit. My SA also didn't do a good job with my registration. I ask for nice number after i pay the deposit, she never bother until the car is ready to be registered. By then i miss out a lot of nice number already.... Sad Sad

It is normal la... don't take them too seriously and u will be fine. One trick u can use. Try to impress upon them that u have a fren who is also interested in buying another honda car.... they will every now and then call u up.. ask u about if everything is ok.... and then they will ask where is that fren... Very Happy

Basically I believe no point to be complaint. If anyone need to buy a car next time just get it from a better dealer and forget about the SA. Or may be just buy another brand. May be fully import from Japan or waht ever. I have try to complaint to HM but still get the same thing as what I complaint to SA. So just forget about it.
