I think their service is quite good as i service my car over at Mofaz.

My recent service was when they was major engine oil leak on my car which the whole engine and transmission need to be remove from the chassis. The foreman is good as he was able diagnosed the problem and get Honda Malaysia to verify the warranty claim immediately. The sad thing was my car need to be left at the sc for 1 week.

Previously there was some squeking sound from the undercarrige and they were able to rectified and fixed it within a day.

Look for the foreman Mr Yap if you have anything issue with your car. The only prblem with the sc is there is a lot of car being service thus the longer waiting period. However, if you can get your car to the SC by 8.00am during weekdays, you might just neeed to wait 1 to 1.5 hours to get your car back.

I service my car there. Generally they are ok. They have a generally good record with me. They're curteous, offer RM3 to upgrade from mineral to semi synth oil. Give free Honda facing cap for each service. They have many big VIPs servicing their cars there ... look at their appointment list ... got "Puteri .... Baginda ... Dato .... Tan Sri ..."

Their problem is they can't estimate time properly. So if they say it would take 1 hour, then it can take anything from 1.5 to 3 hours.

Also they have a tendency to ask you to leave your car with them for 1 week for minor minor issues. Some of the problems they fixed resurfaced within the next 5K. They're HORRIBLE for balancing and alignment.

Hi VC,

Does your squeaking noise sound inlcude "Dhoak" or "Tak" knuckle impact or knock like sound? When does ur squeaking sound happen, e.g. when u car goes up ramps or bumps? One time or continuous sound?

Cheers

It is just a squeaking going through uneven surface. They just tighten the undercarrige and it is squeak free now (fingers cross). There is no "tok" or "dhoak" sound...mayb it is your mounting

Civic_RuLez,

I have something similar to what you describe. I hear that described sound each time I go up a ramp or over road humps and I believe the sound is coming from my rear left hand side suspension. Sending it over to Mofaz SC for inspection.

Where does the sound come from for your case?

Just did my 1K service there this morning. Estimated time of service was 2 hours, but got my car 3 hours later.

After 2 hours, I saw my car being driven to the open car park by onr of the mechanics. I tot they just parked it there to wait for my turn for alignment. Waited another 1 hour because my service advisor was not around, and somehow the papers for my car ended up on another table so the ppl at the desk missed it.

I think I'll go elsewhere to service. Mofaz is located conveniently but the queue is a bit long if you don't mind waiting.

The service there is average. Nothing good or bad. But if you want to install a bodykit after purchase, do it outside!
Their sales people quote very expensive and its of low quality..

Hi all,

I'm a newbie here..took my FD2 for a service there..40K service. The SA was very friendly and helpful.

Not on the mechanics part, the receptionist and the Service Manager part.

1. They drove the car into the service lane like they are doing a 6seconds pit stop. Very rough.
2. They dripped the oil around the filler area and did not clean it up.
3. They removed the top cover and did not put back the clipper securing the plastic part. Realized that a few days after.
4. The receptionist cant converse properly in English. Was very "i dont care" attitude when i called to inquire on the pricing for the service.
5. A few hours after i left the SC, my driver power window jammed. Called them and they told me its normal. Dont have to come back to SC, buy some silicone spray and spray on the motor. For that i need to remove the door panels myself. WTF?
6. Tried calling the SC Manager - Mr Ong. Never reachable in the office, tried his hp a few times never answered or bothered to reply the call.

Impressive "customer satisfaction quality" from HMSC huh?

A little boy did not like the look of the barking dog.

"It's all right." said a gentleman. " Don't be afraid. Don't you know the proverb. 'Barking dogs don't bite'?"

"Ah, yes." answered the little boy. " I know the proverb, but does the dog know the proverb, too?"

I had a pleasant morning yesterday, thanks to this Mofaz SC.

As you all know this SC is having a long queue almost everyday, the receptionisst told me better if I call 2 weeks in advance to book a slot. W/o knowing this I reached the SC at about 8.50.. The receptionist told me there is no more slot left for the day... pissed, but left her a phone number so that she could maybe call me if there is a spare slot during the afternoon when numbers are getting cleared..
Just minute after I drove off their center, my mobile rang.. and she happily told me she found a mechanic who could do the 1K service for me..
So, drove bck to the SC...waited at the coffee area and read my newspaper, car is ready in one hour time..

I may or maynot go back again due to the scarely queue...but nevertheless it was a fine day with them yesterday.
