Sri Utama is good. Very friendly and you can watch the guy do his things. Happy when I go there. Talk to them and they are friendly. A bit far only. So far no problem here, I hope. Got internet wifi somemore. Will come bk here for more services!!!

So far, my 2 babes only visited Roda BB @ OKR. Like the place because I can walk up to the technician and discuss issues directly with him.

On weekday, appt is usually not required....

No wi-fi though, but got Nescafe machine and water and tv there.

i plan to try my 1k service at wegro cheras SC? anyone try there before?

i went to many SCs before.

1) wegro - their service i would rate it as average. Main drawback is they don't have wifi and a large rest place for you to relax while servicing your car. But they do have astro

2) Mofaz - worst SC ever !!!!

1st time service there - they scratched the handbrake badly until they got to respray it.

2nd service - I did complain my cigarette socket not functioning there, they fixed it but caused the radio not functioning after that. They scratched my dashboard when they attempted to fix the radio. Screwed them kao kao when i got my car back.

3) Auto sumber - not bad but not the best.

4) USJ express SC - best SC so far

with wifi, canteen, astro and large waiting area.
most importantly, they also deliver the car within promised timeframe.

i am not sure whether they clean my engine bay or not during every service. But bro ivanchee praised my ride engine bay very very clean , he said that it is the cleanest engine bay he ever seen !!! thanks bro ivan for the praise. . I don't clean my engine bay so it must be the SC

USJ SC offer polish and waxing service too, FYI, they are using meguiars products

I've been sending my cars to Sumber Auto, Sect 13 PJ for service since 2006. I like their work culture as I find the Service Advisors and mechanics there are very friendly and helpful (though the service manager's very garang, din talk to her). At first, i thought all Honda 3S share the same culture... till i took my civic to Peringgit, Old Klang Rd for 1000km service (i bought my civic there).

These are my experiences with Sumber Auto:

1. Service and maintenance
Mineral 5k
Semi syn 7k
Fully syn 10k
No complain so far. No ill effect on cars after service.
Service time: 2-3 hrs
Once, my car side mirror got knocked off by a stupid lorry driver. I took it to Sumber, the SA got it fixed for me on the spot and the best part is FOC. This is what i called value-added service.
If they allow owners to stand by the service bay, it would be even better.

2. Claims
Made few minor accidents claim on my cars. On one occasion, my door handles were scratched, not by them but Honda's panel paintshop in Bt. Caves, i told them few days later, without question, they changed them for me.

P/S: Just my personal viewpoint

Just to update you guys.. Some of the posts about Global Amity was quite old (2007). Since then, we've added a few more things to help make your service experience better, some of which are:

Improvements:

* wifi & internet station with power points (on first floor)
* Half Acre Parking
* 2 service lounge (ground floor & 1st floor)
* 2x 42 inch LCD TVs with QMS system & Movies/TV/etc
* No more early morning briefings!
* Free Coffee/tea/milo/water
* More Man power (to shorten the queues)

Appointments:

* New Customer Relations Exec (should be much more friendlier!)
* Soon to start appointments thru email/web (in planning)

how about discounts? and also warranty claims for parts which are not affected by mods?

cos some SCs are abit hesistant when they see our cars with BKs and modded quite abit.

Warranty claims will usually be investigated and approval by Honda Malaysia. Discounts should be the 15% on parts if im not mistaken. With regards to claims on cars with heavy mods, I think its best you drop by and get a personal consultation.
