SC ... how to recommend one horrible one over another?
All SCs got problems ... questions is which one is worse. USJ Express may be looking better for now, but they are getting too popular and are having problem with the load of cars going in. I've noticed more and more jobs they marked as complete ended up being chinchai jobs that needs me to bring the car back for the same issue. I've been with them for 2 years ... so I can note a progressive trend for the worse over the last 6 months, where they've fixed A to produce problem B, then A return. Quality dropping very steadily. Just checked my sheets for the last 40K ... off all visits, at least 2-3 items they marked complete, did not complete. Some issues took between 3-6 visits to rectify. OF the last visit, 2/3 items marked complete were not even fixed but marked fixed. They need 1.5 months to call me for next appt. to relook at these issues.
Ordering parts is another amazing experience. I have hand brake issue ... They ordered some spare parts, 1 month later, I had to call 5 times just to get connected to the SA to confirm part arrived. So for 2 months, I am parking my car out there with a faulty handbrake. |

Theres a glass wall from the waiting area. Theres also a glass window on the 1st floor service lounge (view limited to 1 bay).
You could wander about to have a look but I dont recommend customers standing right next to the car (just in case something happens).
All service bays are visible from a safe distance. Take a look at our pics on our Google Business Listing (click on location map). Maybe you'll get the idea on what I'm talking about. _________________ Honda Global Amity Sdn Bhd (Authorized 3S Dealership) is now on FACEBOOK & TWITTER

Thanks to En.Azri for giving the special tour of Global Amity's place and to all Global Amity's member including En.Saiful who was there to talk and hear from the customers point of view.

I tend to agree with you .. I went to USJ SC last Friday to check on some cracking/squeaking sound on front side. I waited for nearly 4 hours, they just (cincai2) check and could not tell what is the problem. They said need to do appointment and leave the car for 3 days!!!! I just want to know where the sound come from!! I think I would try to go other SC this time. _________________ regards,

Here's another update on USJ SC. Not only is it now chin chai, they are really not taking care of the car.
Strike 1) When I got back my car, my VIVA strip came off on the driver side. All these while, for months I drove with it, no issues. One day leave with SC, it came out.
Strike 2) They replaced my steering rack last visit. They did not bother to calibrate it (extreme left position was at 8 'o clock position, extreme right was at 2 'o clocl position) making the steering extremely light on one side and heavy on the other. Next, they didn't lube the new rack, so got squeeking sound. Make me make another visit to rectify.
Strike 3) Left wiper hits the frame. First visit simply said "done". Problem still there. Second visit said need to warranty claim. So first visit must be a "play play" visit I suppose. Waste my time.
As how we say in base ball ... strike 3, you're out!
One last thing I notice this visit. I got in with nearly full tank (only one bar habis). I collect car same day, 4 bars gone down. But odo shows car ran 20km only. My usually consumption is 1 bar = 20km. Where did the petrol go. Plus, where they drove my car for 20km? hmmmm. I'm tired d. Maybe need to visit another SC d. |

Azri,
if i changed my original rims from 16' to 17' .. if there is any problem with the steering or suspension for instance like got some weird sound or suspected faulty parts .. it is still qualified for warranty claim ? |

It would really depend on the exact nature of the problem. I'd have to clarify this with my service team. I'll get back to you on this one k? _________________ Honda Global Amity Sdn Bhd (Authorized 3S Dealership) is now on FACEBOOK & TWITTER
