another way to save our hard earned $$ is.....GAB Sports Absorber (not adjustable) match with eibach......the comfort feel + stability is there

if eibach match wt stock absorber...the lifespan of the stock absorber gona reduce really alot...it may last for less than a year only...after that...the comfort feel reduce day by day

hi all, after using eibach pro-kit for 3 mths plus...my FD back stil at 3 fingers gap & front drop to 1 finger now.

now my FD back like jerking up & look so not nice. was thinking to cut e back spring. So wonder e eibach user here also encounter e same problem like me...
and if cut e spring will it effect e back handling & stability?

need help...thanks Sad

probably, ur front shock had to deal with so much stress
with that sport spring, carrying weight of the heavy engine,
-> nearly 'kaput' and worn down lor.

i assumed u not ferry many people at ur back seat
& don't have so much weight at the rear trunk.
that's why u rear shock still last.

all in all.., i think it's the downside of just changing sport spring.
weight distribution not calibrate to driver & passenger need,
thus leading to uneven wear & tear effect.

maybe wat u said is true also coz normally just I alone driving the car. btw u also using eiback & have e same problem like mine?

so by cutting the rear pro kit will help???

been on eibach for more than 2 years now.. the rear rear is still roughly the same although FRHS seems to have lowered a bit more compared to FLHS..

IMHO, cutting springs would not solve your prob hence it will cause u more prob..

Never ever cut your springs...unless you want to dispose them and not want anybody to use them.
