anybody did 40k service?
what are we suppose to change and how much should it costs?

I just have a look at the reference table that gave by the SC, it cost more then 1k?

I have not done my 40k service yet.
But here are the things that my SC advise me to change.

1. Engine oil
2. engine oil fliter
3. ATF
4. Spark plug - (can change to Denso RM100 plus)
5. Air con service & filter
6. Fuel filter
7 air filter

Estimated cost around RM600 plus.

seem like the SC that i am going is changing more things comparing to other which cost around 1k+?

I had done my air-cond service which cost RM200 at 35k service due to some smell from the air-cond. the SC had added in a resister to the air-cond compressor so that it will not freezed up and causing the smell free.

i think i got to do more survey before i go for 40k service.. else ended up kena ketuk kao kao.

I will meet up one guy in SG who sell me Fuel filter @SGD40 and engine filter as well. He also sell honda ATZ-1 transmission oil..just wonder hw much SC charge for change gear box oil?

40k service actually no need 2 service air-con...
air-con service suppose do at every 25k or 1 year (whichever come 1st), it cost about RM400(include air-con filter)
u can go to c ur service booklet, inside there hav detail about air-con service....

40k service is need 2 change

-engine oil
-oil filter RM23.53 , after discount 20% RM18.83
-air filter -- FD1&FD2 RM117.76 after discount 20% RM 94.21
-fuel filter --RM227.90 after discount 20% RM182.32
-ATF (Auto Transmission Fluid) RM34.36 after discount 20% RM27.48 X4=RM109.96
-brake fluid RM19.82 after discount 20% RM15.86x2= RM31.72
-plug can change at 60k++
HM only give 15% discount for every part , but our company give extra 5% !!
-Labour to service HM is charge RM 170.63, but for our company js take RM90 , for those who wan to service (penang and butterworth state), can PM me...

HM website said that 40k service costs RM9XX!!!!! I suppose if no aircond service, which should be at 50K for every 25K interval, then that reduces to about RM5XX.

for 40k services majority is replacing filter rite.
anyone can share which aftermarket parts can we source outside instead of being charge heavily by honda?

here is wat i think la..
1. carbon aircon filter can easily get at around SGD20+
2. intake air filter can just change to K&N or simota at below RM200 yet still is washable 1 wor

i have no idea on wat is fuel filter and how it looks like?
any bro can enlighten me?

To change Fuel Filter, need to take out rear passenger seat one, don't know how it looks like though.

My damage for the 40K service is RM705.74, including alignment and balancing. The breakdown is pretty much the same as posted in earlir post.

Wondering what's will happen if don't change it? Anyone?

I just went to Pusat Service HOnda at Wangsa Maju for 40K km service. It cost me close to RM700.
