Please provide feedback if you buy it. Price seems reasonable (provided it works for up to 1 year). |

KL where? is it sold in retail shops? Hm might need bro mcwk to confirm. From what i understand rain-x will kill your rubber since it's silicone based (cheap but doesn't last long). There's a silica based coating which last longer, safe on the rubber but not as cheap. I heard that car manufacturers use the silica type on all their new cars.
Is your screen losing it's water repellency? |

Never go back to the seller claiming why cannot last a year _________________

The product should looked like this:

i using the same procut but bought it last time at flea market at curve
for rm45 per pack bout 3 months.they even demo the product on the spot.
after using it for like 4 months the water does not repel like when its new.
but when i sit my frens vios who bought it the same time wit me still works really well.no need to even viper durin heavy rain. and he is travellin at bout slow speeds and the water still repels very well.
my main advice neva wash ur glass using soap use plain water is always best.
haha i always use stoner invisible glass which i bought overseas to wip then glass thats why i think it does not repel that well anymore. (stoner is a very strong glass cleaner)
my conclusion-- good try for the price. shud be able to last u up to
6months at least. but for me its bit pricey so i use rainx which i have to apply at least once a month becuz i travel frequently. _________________ its all bout mindset. |

i've used rain x b4, it loses the repellency v fast , 2-4wks
then few yrs back, Turtlewax came out with 'ClearVue' n had a demo running in kedai 'abang' so i bought n tried it....dam effective, no need wipers, water beads like disco lights, lasted longer bout 4-8 wks
however, i always wonder if it 'eats' up our windscreen or not...
so i nvr use it on my FD, only older cars _________________ VTECster |

Wondering about the same thing too. Else how does such chemical bond with the glass for so long? |
