Guys, where did you all buy the 205/55/16 Made in Japan S-Drive? I am looking to change my tyres soon. Appreciate some help here in getting this tyre at the best price. My location is Klang Valley.

i just wanna review some of my experience on s-drive this afternoon:
i bought the ADVAN RZ rims (18x8+45) with bro sham on february, but i only managed to install them until i find a good match for the tires, initially i wanted to match my rz with adrenaline, but the tire shop ran out of stock, so they offer me s-drive instead (22/0Cool 225/40/18.
after the installation and nitro, i went to test them on the highway, cos it's on the way to my next stop. the ride surprisingly does not differ much from my stock bridgestone turanza 205/50/16. sure the ride is firmer, i can feel the bumps more but i think it's due to my air pressure cos i pumped the nitro 35psi. i can certainly feel the steering has more grip than before, tire noise not so much different. but i once rubbed the tires during huge bump going like 30-40km/h. other than that 225/40/18 is the best match for 18x8 rims.
thanks to bro sham for bringing the rims all the way from JB to KL. he's definitely a recommended seller. and i certainly recommend s-drive for alternative when planning to change tires.

i thought i've given enough FR for feeling...one note if u don't really like hard tire then do opt for 17" but 18" is more flushed looking in my opinion..the hardness is only slightly different from stock. best fir for 18 is 225/40 with 18x8 wheels for the maximum comfort without modification to fender..

certainly a better buy compared to stock tyre bro...IMO..
S drive excell in dry according most tyre reviews i read...great choice...

plus, treadwear of 300... meaning this tyre do not wear off easily.. Very Happy

Dear Bros,
Anyone had experienced having s-drive 225/45/17 with FD2 stock rim? Any concern or negative impact? Appreciate could share some pics with the above combination.

Thanks

hai,

At present i'm using 225/24/R17 Yoko S-Drive mounted on 17X17.5JJ Wedsport SA-90.

It fit nicely with 7.5JJ rim, for the stock FD2 rim i think should be ok if using 215/45/R17.

It's a good tyre for wet and dry condition but a bit noisy.
