is there anyone here equip with YOKOHAMA S-DRIVE tyres>??..
have any opinion or views abt it?? ... want to change rims, could not decide abt the tyres yet?..

i bought yesterday, yokohama s-Drive, .. i'm so inexperience abt tyres, give it my best shot.. only can compared it to the stock 1.8 tyres NCT,
basically its better than the stock one, sound wise.. not so noisy, grip-so damn good when its a hot day, wet day.. to afraid to try but cornering doin 90kmh feels grip good oso.. price wise, rm 360 per tyre.. made in japan,
read some catalogue reaview, grip is less than YOKOHAMA NEOVA, comfort - better , economy - better ...
i can't find any review abt dis tyres.. but the tyre taiko people seldom use dis tyre.. performance wise, maybe??..
anyone tried YOKOHAMA PARADA before?? |

bro..
given the tyre has to be running in/scrubbed in mileage for 300-400km,
the initial feel of your tyre right now should be better and better after this.
tyre often need to be scrubbed in about 300-400km before it unleash the full potential as the outer layer consist of oxidised rubber material to worn of thoroughly...some tyres might need to be scrubbed in about 500km IMO la..
do tell us when its mileage has exceed +- 500km mark... |

Bro Mukreek, you must ve change yr rims to 17 for yr Civis 1.8. Is there a tyre size for the original 1.8 rims ie. 205/55/16 and what would be the price range ? Thanks |

i thought Japan Rubber come with 225 size instead of 215? |

owh, dun bout dis?.. wut is the different between japan made n thailand made??.. if at the tyres shown 'made in japan' is there any possibilities it's made from thailand? the word is located at the side of the tyres? |

I went ahead and bought my S-drive as well. I'm on stock PP1 in the front and S-drive in the back. Can feel the rear more planted and quieter than the front. Have to wear down the front and change to S-drive as well.
The rubber is indeed soft and nice to touch. |

Well of course I have but I'm on PP1 front so the front going to have the most grip. Back just follow only. Once my PP1 wears down then only I will change my front to S-drives. My car on "track package" autofoam + all the bars so high speed cornering very planted lor.
