I've been using iridium plugs (not denso though) for some years now but obviously not on the Civic. The plugs are expensive. I have not dynoed them so my opinions are not objective. I have not seen dyno of these plugs as well. There is some somoothness and better response using these plugs but that is it. The plugs does last very long so that is the plus point. |

Choosing the correct plug will help. If not, u'll prayed that u didn't change is better. I'm using NGK iridium with NGK Power cable on my 1.6 Getz, a perfect combination.
Benefits of NGK Iridium spark plugs - Lower fuel consumption, longer life, smoother engine running - improved ignition efficiency giving enhanced power and acceleration. |

Iridium many type 1...which is the better than the stock.
I read somewhere in the net; 1 forum (like Autoworld if i not mistaken)
said our Civic 2.0s already comes with NGK Iridium spark plug but is low spec 1. The tip of the plug is diff compare to those very good ones. |

guys, the Denso Iridium plug for our new Civic 1.8s and 2.0s is IK20L which is longer leg than normal IK20.
takashi, NGK Iridium already in our ride? anyone can confirm?
anyway, i tried b4 NGK, but still not as sactisfy as when using Denso, so i'm pro to Denso, definately my next choice.
qier, the aeroplan sound should not cos by the plug ler, it is because of the audio signal cable to ur amp too near to the power cable. they should be separately install at drive side and pasenger side. |

Takashi is right I remember reading in the manual and it says Iridium. Replacment is every 100K. as I mentioned earlier the plugs last long. Iridium has better heat properties and the tip can withstand the heat such that the tip doesn't wear out as fast. |

qier,
i don think so u can get Denso Iridium at RM120/set from ur Sg friend, as i know that spark plug cost very high at S'pore, if i not mistaken, Sg is selling Denso Iridium at S$30/plug, so a set could be S$120 liao lor.
hm..maybe we can organise a group buy for Denso Iridium IK20L, i think can get at RM160/set or lower if quantity is more. I know a supplier at KL area. |
