Hi Civic_ Rulez,

We carry the Denso IK20L plug which is ideal for your ride. Tested & proven by many bros here.

Have not tried the Bosch nor the NGK yet.

Cheers,

Thks Desmond,
Was just doing a quick look up comparing the Denso IK20L and the NGK IX types. The Denso has 0.4mm tip whilst the NGK has a 0.6mm tip. Both Iridium. Would the NGk provide better ignition and acceleration?

However, not sure which of the NGK types has a better heat range or a suitable one for the 2.0

Cheers.

no need to change wiring or anything .. just need to replace the existing spark plug and off u go!

( though changing spark plug for FD2 will take much longer than FD1 due to the position of the plugs )

recently changed this at klauto , and it is fantastic! thx des~

For honda car suppose to use IK20L, IK20 can be use for honda too, both are same heat range, tips, gap and etc. but IK20L are longer then IK20 a lil bit. So it will have better performance compare to IK20 and IK20L are the correct code for honda civic FD1 and FD2.

Just changed my stock plugs on my FD2 to Denso IK20L.
Done at Quicksave.

For those who are unsure of FD2 installation for spark plugs, You may refer to the pics for the installation.

Dismantling the upper parts at the engine bay

Location of spark plugs. Notice the 4 yellow dots.

Denso IK20L vs NGK Iridium plugs(Stock)

Overall i would say the engine is more quiet and acceleration does improve when u go >100km. Very happy with the results. The guy who do the installation (ah soon) is friendly too Smile thumbs up to IK20L & quicksave Smile
