IMHO, it'll be a cool mod, but to DIY is rather risky if anything goes wrong and the car doesn't respond ....eg. Doesn't cancel when brake or accelerate non-stop.

Better leave it to the professionals.

Cool, once I get my cruise control done I now have the luxury to tie both my shoe laces while I'm driving. Now only left side since I upgraded to Auto from Manual.

Good job posting this technical reference up.

Adding a cruise control when you don't have one is highly NOT recommended for the amateur DIY...too complicated and fiddly...

AFAIK, the CruzCcon runs on a separate controller module, takes various sensor inputs from main engine ECU, gearbox ECU etc...and then only signals the dbw throttle...too many things can go wrong with the electronics when you try to diy...and the original set-up is designed to be fail-safe as well, so that you will always be in control when the cruzcon conks.
