I just did the registration etching on FD2 windscreen. Simple and easy. Got it from this site

I bet there's no big deal about this window registration number thing. Everybody knows it. A lot says it's useless lar, looks ugly lar bla bla bla. But I still do it, for the peace of mind lar. At least can deter the car theifs to choose my car to be stolen.

Another reason is, I can choose the fonts I want! The etching now looks good on my windscreen. More funky than the conventional one.
I also ordered the type R logo....hehehehe.

It comes like this. I took 30 mins to choose this font!!


Very easy 4 steps. Just stick to the place you want etch. Make sure it's DRY though.


Applying the chemical on the stencil. Wait for 5 minutes.


And the result, after cleaning off the chemical and peeling off the stencil.

I'm happy with the result even though the side is not as sharp that I expected, coz I apply it when the windscreen is still wet. The other two etching and the logo will go up later, on a hot dry day.


The cost for 4 sets of number = RM30!!!!! Haha!
The logo should be RM10 extra. Because the seller (well that's me myself) also love the FD so much, I pushed him to give free......Hehehe!

about the type R logo, it is for Civic EK model and not the FD type R model.

All generation of Civic uses different font type.
