I went to USJ's Dealer just now.

1.8 version, i didnt want the normal 1k discount so they can give me free spoiler + door visor.

is it a good deal?

I went to Kuantan branch - zero discount.

just manage to survey the 1st showroom in my list, puchong showroom only give rm1k discount. Confused

need to spend more time to some other showroom & see is there any better deal. interest now is low now, they offer 2.39%, is that the best?

Just booked last Tuesday & I get 1k discount(FD2 FL), free door visor, 2.5k Modulo BK(not from the original Honda Modulo BK... of course..) & 1k Llumar tint(with security layer... my sister paid 1.7k for the same spec actually...).

V-Kool is too expensive for me. My SA said I have to pay 2k(after discount) for the same spec and he told me I'm actually paying for the 'brand'. I'm not sure if he's telling the truth since I'm not really good at this 'tinting' thing... But I think I can trust him since I've known him for about 7 years now(I bought my previous car from him also...)...

Trade in with my Honda City Type Z VTEC year 2002, which I get 32k...

Is it a good deal? I hope it's good... Smile

Congrats on your purchase. I think its pretty a good bargain looking at your free items on top of discount..

Somehow i do agree with what your SA mention, VKool is more like paying a premium for the brand, thats is why i go for Raytech (not as famous as VKool but does it works well)... Laughing

From experience, just immediately after new /face lift launch...de discount is rather low. So far abt 1k plus. If you re not in a hurry...just wait another few months ...usually after 6 mths and with our economy going down down down so fast....many are putting off buying a new car......so if you got de bucks, just wait awhile, de discounts will get bigger....IMO....got 2 b carefull nowadays..hahahah

Booked fd2 finally, rm2K discount. offered for RM2.5K also for modulo body kit and RM2.2K for V-Kool elite but undecided at the moment - i have to shop around. got 2.35%. have to wait a month to get it - miss the rm625 road tax rebate this month

Ya, i agree with bro nickken ...FL indeed very small discount. Apart from SA own comission normally the SC dont really encourage giving too much discount of their profit margin..

If can wait, maybe a good choice... Evil or Very Mad

One more thing, your RM1K Llumar tint - check the spec carefully - make sure you have the same understanding as your SA. many were conned already because they are a lot of different specs for the same brand. normally they will give you the lowest spec or mix between best and worst. and be present 100% of the time during the tinting process to make sure they use correct materials. this is materialistic world - honesty is rare.

I got it from a Penang branch - direct to the outlet manager. most SAs can give you up to RM1k only because of their commission. another branch offerred me rm1.8K - also direct to the manager.
