Just replaced after 1 year and 5 months. Is this normal for Civic? Mine is 1.8. Electrical mods: VS, SE and Ig Earth only..

Have already claimed once.. abt time to replace again.. normally with frequent night time driving, 1.5 yrs life span is abt normal.

I've got a friend whose battery went dead less than 2 yrs and HM replaced it FOC.

the warranty would be 2 yrs or 40K which ever comes first......but more interestingly it would be great if anybody could confirm this. Most of us dont use a volt meter to measure the battery and usually would be caught some where and especially if you are with your family.......i am not sure if this is an indication or otherwise but 2-3 starts before my batt gave away, everytime i put the key in the ignition, waited for the 5 beeps to switch of i would start the car and after starting the beeps would come back on. I thought i accidentally started but thinking back i think it could be the warning sound for a dying battery.

To save our hassle, best ask the SC to check it how long the batt will last. It's a free checking. No harm asking it. Never ask, never know, right ?

yup.. battery dies & cannot exceed after 2 years..
proven, as my car 'mampus tgh jalan' even with low milage..
