Hi funkydog,
2.0s Civic HID is 4300k only, it should be yellowish white.
You can have 1 system support the headlamp and another support the foglight. |

Bro funky....yes it is definitely possible to use HID on ur fog lamp.....=)..but what ppl usually do is....use those white halogen bulb le..cheaper ma....=)...summore when u put HID as fog lamp ..its ballast is more prone to water splashing from underneath and ..what is the road is flooded..=)..so the usual things ppl do is...HID as lo beam, fog lamp u buy those whitish halogen bulb,..
yes..civic 2.0 comes with HID..and they are yellowish....kinda resemble those halogen bulb colour when u see from inside cockpit..
If u were to change the entire HID system, u need to have 4 pcs of ballast and 4 pcs of HID bulb..=)..one ballast for each bulb..=) this is a must.. |

If were to change just the bulb for the foglight then it won't have the HID feel as it's not as bright as HIDs.
HID can be installed for foglights too but if i'm not wrong 1ballast supports only 1 bulb. That would be 2pairs of ballasts to support headlight and foglight HID. Normally 1set = 2ballasts 2bulbs, so as modulus said, u will need another set of ballasts and bulbs for ur foglight if u wan HID foglights.
OEM HID for 2.0 is slightly yellowish but it's brighter and whiter than normal halogen bulbs. |

If you really wanted to replace your car lighting system, don't just change the light bulb, replace the whole system, then it's cheaper alot, compared to just replacing the bulb. |

Bro, you have a 2.0s or 1.8s?
You get a HID system for low beam on a 2.0s. Unless you want a higher K level of lighting like 8500K. Stock setup 4300K only.
You can replace your foglight to HID as well, if you found out that it's not bright enough for you.
If you gonna use stock HID for foglight, then that would be odd, it's be diff color on the low beam since you already upgrade it to a higher K. Why don't you do it like flyingV did, replace the whole system for both. |

Bro qier, for 1.8 the original Main/Low beam is HB4 (51W), high beam HB3 (60W), fog light H11 (55W), position light M4 (5W). |

Changing the bulb don't help, ok very simple,
headlight = HID 8000K system
foglight = HID 8500K system
For the bulb, refer to bro qier or bro Ivan. |
