...after reading the posts..i also got questions liao..kekeke

Modulus quoted : If you really wanted to replace your car lighting system, don't just change the light bulb, replace the whole system, then it's cheaper alot, compared to just replacing the bulb.

...replacing certain bulb in ur car is defnitely cheaper than replacing the whole system...example..fog light use thosewhitish halogen bulb..rm 70..u get HID for fog light..rm 600 ++ ( AT LEAST ) made in taiwan..then how could it be cheaper?

ok back to bro funky.....i had this exp before...i put HID for my FOG lamp..even though it looks nice n crispy n bright from outside...it doesnt help much when u sit inside...ur LOW BEAM is more important..that's y i use HID 4300K for my low beam and white halogen bulb for my FOG..=)..both looks same colour..but not same brightness.....and also...i recommend 6000K HID..and not higher due to its luminence..

its just 2 cents of mine...and i hope i didnt offend anyone...=)

Are you sure? Replacing the bulb to a high level K should be quite a handful. If RM200 a piece, i reckon it's should be Branded!

haha..higher K doesnt mean anything....bro...u in PG rite?..if u in KL i can bring u to a place called PH Auto located in PJ Sea Park and they do sell lots of spare parts cheap...u can do a search in autoworld for PH Auto and everyone recommends them..ok..for Rm 200 u can get brands like...Imperial Concept which GC is selling, Aura HID bulb, Michiba HID bulb, ..if u add another rm 100 ..then u can get Hella, Phillips or PIAA..anyway..this is all up to bro funkydog...depends on his wallet....got MORE money..go for very good HID system that can cost u rm 2500++ and above....but modulus..r'ber OEM civic HID ballast is a very good n long-last item....why would anyone wanna change them?...change the HID bulb to a slightly higher K is very sufficient enuff....take into consideration...how many years of warranty can those BRANDED HID bulb can offer you?...they do wear and tear...maybe 1/2 or 1 year?...though getting less BRANDED system is LESS BRANDED...or LOUSIER....but they are much more cheaper...and some does come with 1 year bulb n ballast warranty...(do a search in 0-100.com)...and if the parts got worn out after the warranty period...u would feel its worth it..=)....

Sorry to cut-in your thread like this, but i like to share this as well. I flipped through the owner's manual and found out that how ez to DIY the foglight bulb. By simply pull-off a piece of plastic beside to foglight only. But i only realised, that with Mugen front under spoiler, it's impossible to DIY. Any other way round without removing the front under spoiler?

Just to confirm that the foglight bulb is H11, right?

I'm quite confuse here. Can I just change the H11 & M4 to HID without change the ballast? Will they be less bright or even not last longer.

One more thing does white halogen bulb has any xxxxK(brightness standard)?

Bro, you can upgrade the foglight (H11) to HID. But without a ballast, it cannot operate at all. There's no HID for M4, cause M4 is the small position light, only 12V 5W.

For halogen bulb, it's up to the output of the WATT. You can see all those aftermarket bulb with 4300K or higher, but those are just the color of the light equivelant to the HID brightness. This is what i think it is. Bro, jackylbh, you sould know better, pls correct me if i'm wrong.

ahaha...bro modulus..u r rite la..bro deca..how's life man...=)..
aftermarket halogen bulbs wont last long...unless u go for PIAA, philips or osram...other than that..u can expect a lifetime of 6 months ..hahaha...maybe longer ..see ur luck la..

white halogen bulb ranges from 4300K to 6000K...8000K is light blue..10000K is dark blue..12000K is purple...keke...but these are just the colours...not bright one....but..for foglight ok la...main thing is ur low beam...keke...wanna install angel eyes anot?...i can show u some pictures if u want..
