thinking of putting in UR's F-SB, F-ARB and R-ARB; and instaling Tein SS coilovers to improve cornering and overall stability.

1) Anyone tried this?
2) How much will the compromise in comfort be, in terms of seat-of-the-pants percentage? 10%? 20%?
3) Is there a discernible difference between the 16mm and 19mm R-ARB? Think

Just got the rear anti-roll bar 16mm installed. Cornering and handling has improved definitely but at the expense of comfort. Ride is bumpier now. If 19mm, ride is even harsher. Sad

I saw some bros here mentioned installing the front Ultra Racing strut bars will cause knocking noise. Is it true or it is just installing errors?

I guessed ride quality will deteriorates right? I am thinking to install one after the rear ARB as the handling improvement is poisonous . Laughing

Yes bars will definitely improve your riding and handling but bear in mind that most of the branded bars etc. Cusco the bar made from light aluminum which is strong and have tendency to break if an impact/accident occurred as to avoid the other side of the body which connected by bar to pull together.

Well, the real measure of any pie is in the tasting. Taking advice from this post (and others) - going for only UR's F-TSB and R-ARB (16mm) with Tein SS coilovers next week. Will drop a line or three here on seat-of-the-pants results when done...

UR F-SB + 16mm R-ARB + Tein SS =

1. Sharper and more reactive steering for all cornering manoeuvres - quicker point and turn, can carry more speed into and out of sweepers, constant radius corners, sharp "esses", etc.
2. More in-tune front and rear - car is turning as one, as opposed to front turns then back follows
3. Much improved road/tyre feedback - like wearing quality Italian shoes
4. Lowered centre of gravity - perception of more solid overall platform stability
5. Less step out from the rear during smooth acceleration in wide sweepers
6. Less nose dive during braking - smoother slow-downs
7. Less road noise from wheel arches - somehow...
8. Firmer ride, but not by much (only 10-15% more bounce?) - surprisingly comfortable for aftermarket coil-overs.

Bottom-line, the suspension is much more transparent - cornering is now focused on judging tyre grip and g-forces.

The obvious prices you pay are a) the capital outlay, b) 10-15% more rocking and rolling over rough surfaces, and c) heightened awareness of speed humps. imho >> Cool

My thanks to all the contributors who posted feedback on this and the Tein SS thread. You have helped me make the right choices. Cheers.
