Is it possible to get Year 2007 1.8 Civic on 12/01/07

Just received a call from my SA telling my car (2007) 1.8 is ready for collection possible this Friday (at most) - 12/01/2007 or earlier...

Question now is, do you think this is a 2007 manufactured car or 2006 car with paper tampered for 2007 registration.

Bros/Sis, any idea how to verify if this car is really 2007 manufactured....advise is needed as the clock is ticking....

BTW, Sri Peringgit is the Sales office I place order from.

i'm not sure abt that, but if i'm not mistaken, the exsise for 2007 batch is after 22nd january 2007.. i'm not sure if the car can be manufacture b4 the date... anyway, enjoy ur new car!!

Got another confirmation from Kah Motor (my friend ordered the same model 1 week earlier). His SA told him the new car coming out at the third week of Jan 2007.

So it might be true...hor...

I have the same problem with our bro here also, FYI i will collect my car tomorow as promised by my SA. At first i doubted the car was a 2007 car but my SA confirmed and assured me that the car is 2007. as wat he claims that HM have more demand than suply and as soon as the car is manufactured, the next day is off to our showroom liao.. thats the main reason we waited so long for that car (i booked mine on Aug 06)will update u guys on my car registration card (manufacture date) when i collect my car tomorrow. am excited to drive it cos i dindnt really test drive it before. hope my info helps !

fyi, mine is 1.8. Heard from my SA that 2.0 batch will only available after march 07. dunno how far is true. He also did mentioned that he has few customer aleady cancel booking due to the long period of waiting (more than 6months)

here. My SA just called. was very dissapointed to hear that the my car is actually 06 car but the exsais n duty is paid 07 Sad

. But i wouldnt mind that cos he told me that HM informed him that 07 car will only b out somewhere march 07. I dun care lah cos CNY is coming leh.. if no car how leh ?? (i have been carless for months !) Now he is on the way for the JPJ registration for my number plate. Will get my baby this afternoon.. Very Happy

Congrats bro...nvm lah 06 or 07 just price different a bit when u sell it. Besides, the price u buying it should b cheaper from 07 models. So it is back to square one.

Anyway, hope able to hear more your joy with your new civic. Wink

Hi guys I'm not sure how true isit....but from my understanding it should take at least 3 weeks from the assemble line, delivery to warehouse, clearance, excise duty, register..bla bla bla!!!

seems like the speculation is right... 06 car with 07 registration....
.... nvm lr... 06 or 07.... but at least paper say 07 means its 07 car liao..right..

kekekeke.... remember to use the check list in one of the forum topic when u go pick up ur car...

my uncle , car dealer... says can minimum 2k ... but he sells pero dua .... haha .....

wat bout honda ?
