Sorry... ><
Anyway I've put my name on for the club decal (Windscreen type) in the merchandise thread. I'd prefer that type if possible since I have plans for my windscreen design Thanks, and sorry again... _________________

This is to protect legitimate members from non-official or never appear in any before TT before member that might not conduct a professional buying/selling procedure.
FYI, the decal is just RM 15. |

I think motortrader/zerotohundred allow anyone to sell/buy anything there without rules and regulations, you can do your own stuff there.
But here, we are a club that to maintain smoother and harmony environment, to be straight, only 8gen civic owner and also official member (with RM15 only for the decal) and owner can do their stuff here.
Like or dislike the shirt/decal, is personal taste. To support the club, RM15 for a civic owner... ''wat is that?'
Thanks anyway. |

I really don't like the club shirt and decal. Feel sorry that I cannot use this section just for these reasons. |
well, luckily most of it find it very useful now as it is now.
about old stuff trading, best if its not too opened up, otherwise it might be like 'pasar malam'. the current form of control is still manageable....of course we are open to all feedbacks. it helps to improve the site.
maybe ur taste a bit different from ours when the shirt and decal was designed. why not u join the northern members for TT. see the decal and shirt for yourself? then only make ur decison. =P
u can always PM qier, kaybee or babypet |

i want to say my 50cents here ...
1. the Civic FD club (Msia chapter) was formed as a non-profit club.
2. we are not registered & we intend to remain tat way or else managing it gets complicated.
3. being a non-profit club, the committee members are elected via annual votings conducted fairly & comittee members do not profit in any way or receive fees for work contributed.
4. to keep the club active, we need funds to organise events. so the decal & shirt is a method of raising funds for the benefit of all.
5. the maintenance of tis site is provided for the use of all members free of charge. so i hope tat new members & those w/out decals (oso shirts) can see beyond the material outlook & design and look at the bigger objective.
6. the pioneering batch of about 20+ of us, has started tis club ... all the information is shared freely about taking care of your FD , where to look for gd buys, merchant GBs & even resolving problems u face... personally for a one-time RM15, is a small contribution which we would like to encourage.
7. as the club grows bigger & more activities are organised, there comes bigger expectations.
8. for those, outstation members pls refer to your regoinal committee ... if u r too far away, u can also form your own cell of FD kaki or even TT kaki.
9. we hv members here who dont even own an FD (at least not yet la but sure kena poison get one !) but we welcome any1 who love the FD to join in.
10 finally, there is always 80:20 rule. we the committee can only serve the "collective whole", the word is collective whole & NOT 100%.
11. zerotohundred, fr wat i understand is turning into a commercial site cos apparently advertising fees are collected.
12. we dont collect fees fr out merchants but instead invite them to contribute sponsorship to our club events.
13. i personally will be against turning this forum into a "free-for-all" bazaar of selling/trading other goods for commercial benefit. wats the purpose ? unless we are a commercial site & we earn commission - then again tis is against the original club charter.
14. lets keep our focus... |

Thank you Mr VP, newguy, blackhawk and ed for clarifying on this matter.
I think we have done enough explanation already.
To cut it short, the rules and regulation stays aka "strings attached". If any forumers esp non-official members who do not like the way it is managed, pls feel free to go post your sellings in other forums. |
