hi again,
just need to ask those who use Eibach spring or any other after market springs if the sounds have /really dissappeared? My fd1 has several sounds. thinking of replacing springs in the future if that is the solution. tq

Tq bro for the reply.
wonder if the result is the same with others. I am still lazy to send my fd1 to sc. sacrifice time etc for complaining but no solution. correct me if there is. One of my relative's fd 1 also has this occasional tok sound. He sent it to SC but the SC cannot identify the problem. Then they told him thta the problem will not harm the car. It's just a sound. What an answer.

Hey all FDs Bros.
I am having trouble with this tok tok' sound too. After reading the long thread here, seems like there are a few root caused to this issue.
Can someone help me to summarize the root caused from the thread here?

Root caused:
1. Spring problems?

Cheapest fix/Solutions:
1. Change spring coil?

No warranty for this fix?

Hi all,
Service centre asked me to send my fd for checking. Yesterday I sent in for regular service and complained again about the sound. I think I will give it a try just to find out if they can fix the sound.

Anyway, I heard a louder tak sound on my way to work today at a junction after the traffic went green. Funny it was not fd tak sound. This similar sound came from a trailer. The rear wheel gave tak sound when it went for a corner after the traffic light. Wonder if our fd suspensions the same quality as the trailer? wahkaka

maybe SC should troubleshoot the tak sound by looking into the trailer tak sound. maybe correlated. haha..

Is there a way that most likely will replicate the 'tok' sound? My FD also occasionally have the sound from the rear left suspension. Because it does not happens all the time, quite difficult to convince the service center if during test drive no 'tok' sound. Will be going to 10K service early next month. For me there are a few more issues to complaint other than this 'tok' sound.

Mine already dengar. I asked when I collected my fd. The one manning the counter said that they have heard the tak/tok sounds and few other (hopefully) They asked me to send in . Now thinking when.. Still not very hopeful that they can solve these issues as what others have experienced.

Will complaint during service time next week. Whether the SC will be convinced or not, not sure. I doubt they will replace anything if test drive did not generate any 'tok' sound.
