SC will find all sort of excuses not to do for you for those squeking sound.
I faced the similiar encounter last week. Went complain for squeking sound at the dash board.
1st excuses, ask me to leave my ride there for 2 days..den i say "f" no..i will WAIT...
end of the day, blame it on my ballast (coz mine FD1... installed with aftermarket ballast). Say the squeking sound come from the ballast against the chasis behind the bumper..
see like this also can..sienz...definately i know not the reason as the squeking was there before i installed the HID... _________________

I am one of those crazy buggers who have done extensive soundproof to the noisy FD. Just to give you a picture:
Soundproof:
1) Front & rear fenders (two layers)
2) Both front (triple layers) and rear doors (single layer)
3) Boot & firewall (two layers)
Cost = Approx. RM2200 (mixture of DIY)
Autofoam
1) Track package (by KL Auto) filled up almost all the empty cavities
Cost= Approx RM2800
Silent tyres
1) 4 pieces of Michelin Primacy LC (215/45/17)
Cost = RM1800
Total = RM6800
My verdict is that you get a comfortable car which is as quiet as the uncle Altis & Sylphy in stock form But don't expect with those expenditure will get u close to a Lexus IS250 or even the Peugeot 308.

sad to say, my rim still stock la..coz not approve by HM..
but i encounter something with my headlamp..they reject my warranty claim coz i am using 3rd party ballast for HID.. darn! _________________

But how could a ballast do with the deskboard noise?
Still cannot accept.. Let see if my case also they will say the same thing.. I sure reason with them kaokao..
What happend to Malaysia's SC? compare with Thailand's Honda SC..
Thailand's Honda SC treat thier customer like customer but i dont feel Malaysia honda behave the same way.. Indeed sometimes i feels like i owe them money.. If not how can they serve thier customer like this?
*Think its time to make noise to HM.. Anyone try this? |

I think it all depends on the SC. My car has some ICE and autofoam mods which literally caused some rattling noises at the rear speaker panel. Yet they rectified my problems despite those mods.
Occasionally, I get dashboard noise too (especially after the car is put under intense sunlight). I guessed this is due to ICE mods too. Sometimes, we have to put ourselves at risk when we opt for mods. |
