Auto Foam or Full sets Bars

That goes to show that the resonance generated by the engine while idling is very much reduced. Stop the engine and start the engine again, you will not feel much differences with the engine ON. The foam absorbed most of the resonance and NVH generated from the engine. Sweet!

After driving out of KLAuto, first feel is that the car felt slow ... I was wondering was it because the foam heavy and make the car feel heavier hence slow? .. after reading bro blue's statement above, he also feels the same, the car moves slower ... I think probably because we are used to the NVH generated while the car is moving but because it is reduced, then we feel that the car is slower. Cool!

Going over the yellow line speed bump, can feel less intrusion into the cabin. It is less intusion, not totally eliminated. Afterall, the speed bump is to alert the driver to slow down so most important is that I can still know that there is a speed bump, but more comfortable going over them. Nice!

Another improvement is going over uneven road, wow, it felt like it absorbs most of the irregularity of the road and the intrusion into cabin is very much reduced!! I guess not good for the absorber though as will tend to go over uneven road faster now as there is less bump, Not good .. hehe

This one is something I didn't expect, as this is a comfor package, I didn't thought that it will improve the handling as well!!!!! Maneuving the car around, changing lane, attack the corner, all felt that the car moves where you want it to move ... less body roll felt! I always keep an umbrella at the rear, on top the rear speaker board. Before AF, the umbrella will always slide left and right every time I corner, now it hardly move, only under really fast cornering! This is really fantastic!

I have one upset though. When the car speed increase, can feel less NVH coming from the bottom but the NVH on the top (windows, pillars) feel like worst now .... aiyo ... I think because the differences between both, bottom and top is much bigger hence can hear more wind noise now .... damm upset! Now need to go for sound proof and pillar foam already! Another upset, no more bullet already Sad

... hehe

Coming next, Sports package!! won it at the club auction .. kekeke Smile

They compliment the AF for one level higher performance and comfort.

yeahlor, that's why need to plan your mods wisely. Mods does not mean stock is bad. Only means we intend to upgrade. It is never a neccesity mah. For me, tyres, absorbers and AF are the top three valuable/worthwhile mods -- I din even invest in bodykit. Smile

For me, cosmestic mod is not important. Also, for me, wait the stock kaput then upgrade to better one, no need to use back the stock parts .. hehe Smile

Bro welcome to the Af Club. I think desmond already has a new package for soundproofing...the A pillars, floor pan and wheel arches...This will definitely compliment the AF. I can't remember the name of the soundproofing materials used as Des has brought in some new ones recently. If you are into comfort > performance then it's definitely worth it Wink

Correct x3, i experience it in back seat of "blue" car.
The FSD works well during corner and more comfortable when hit uneven road on straight.
Now saving $$$ & wait for another 20-30k

Yeh, if $$$ allow. Upgrade for Ultimate ++ or Track, you will feel different at higher speed corner/sharp corner. There shall not be big different in price.

I have the same feel after I AF my car.. but actually is because the car more quiet and stable.. more like conti feel, right?

This is also true as near my house there are a few speed bumps.. dread going over this but after AF.. can still feel the bump but not as harsh.

Yes, after AF, you will tend not to slow down and just drive as normal over uneven roads.. because the harshness is reduced.. absorber will do most of the work absorbing the road. Do not have the famous P brand feel.. everything rattling and shaking here and there.

Add 2 pairs of spring buffer, lagi best (on top of your comfort package). Cheap + effective in absorbing all the road harshness although they raise your car height a little.
