Manage to go to another SC to ask for another opinion...

Result....they suspect the rear LHS bearing damage (also)...

So I proceed with the bearing replacement..

Then so far, after replacement, no more humming sound...I think the bearing was the real culprit of this problem...

Thanks guys for your help and advice...I can balik kampung for Hari Raya without any worry...

Cheers

Takeshi,
It is great! Do you have to pay since yours already 3 years old? How much? i suspect my humming sound is also from rear LHS.

Bro Alving..

Yes, my warranty already expired during my 2-years ride...

Better bring your car to a few SC/workshop and ask for their opinion on the sound before you decide to proceed with..

Replacement cost at SC is at RM660 (bearing cost-before discount)+ labour cost...

If the price is okay with you..please proceed

The above cost was for one unit bearing only...

If you want it to be cheaper, you might opt to buy the part from outside shop..

I already checked from outside. The rear bearing is RM450 (without installation) and probably need to pay extra RM35 for the installation.

Wa... RM450, you checked with workshop or honda stockist?
I think stockist price is lowest.

Bros, i just changed the bearing (rear LHS). Bought RM280 at Glenmarie and labor is RM20. Now no more humming sound caused by the bearing. Here are some photos of the bearing.
