just want to ask, I guess I have the same problem , but not send it yet to HSC (busy like hell) . I change the rim to 17" which is not a stock standard. Is the warranty void?...

can any sifu here rectify that if we change our stock FD1 rims from 16" to 17" .. if somehow the car suspension system (bearing, absorber etc.) got issue (touchwood~*) and we wan to claim warranty, will it still be valid ?? just now my SA told me if i change my rim to 17" then nomore warranty claim Confused how true is that ??

the humming sound of my car is solved, send it to tyre shop, they claim left back tyre is worn out unevenly than produce the humming sound. If bearing problem the humming sound will get louder when you speed up, for the uneven tread the sound will reduce when cruise in high speed.

Change my both back tyre , put a new pair , do rotation , put new pair infront, wheel alignment ...settle .....

but I'm still curious about the warranty, my friend told me , just put a standard set of wheel (deal with tyre shop) then claim the warranty.

JDMCar, I have rotated my tyres at 10k and now my mileage is 20k. Can hear humming sound from rear tyre and SC said is alignment problem. After rectified with tyre shop, they claimed alignment was fine but absorber not strong enough eventhough I change new tyres, the humming sound will be back after certain period of time.

My rear tyres, especially one side can felt uneven wore at inner side. The interesting thing is, uneven wore not entirely but on and off at inner side.

Do you have any advise?
