Ron95 gives me more milage... Thats what I have discovered to cpmpare with Ron97. But not measured exactly in L/km. But it really gives me more mileage about 15% more... Driving style is the same.. Also no feel of loosing power..

My car is a FD1. I changed to RON95 for quite some time. At first, I really felt no difference in fuel consumption and power. Until that day I cruised from KL - Ipoh, really felt no power when overtaking cars on highway.
Initially I thought maybe becoz of my car engine oil had not been changed yet..... or other reasons, so I didn't care.

But since last Friday I accidentally pumped RON97 thought that Petronas stations only have RON95, only to find out that some stations still have one or two pumps providing Primax 3(RON97).

What surprised me was the power increase was really significant at the very 1st acceleration after the refuel. I thought it was my psychological feelings. But after two to three days of driving, my car is really more powerful even my mother could feel it when she drove it.

For those of you who feel that it's the same between RON95 and RON97, maybe it's becoz u are too used to the RON95. Try to pump one tank of RON97, and see what's the difference.

No offense to those who feel that they have no difference. It's just my experience and I'm still using RON95 too although RON97 is more powerful to me becoz RON95 is cheaper.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't have a choice with my FD, but my other ride using RON95, somehow gives me poor FC. 40litre of RON97 would gives around 380km, RON95 only 320 - 340 km. Buttmeter don't feel any difference on the power though.
