|
|
Hi all. Have a query here. I park my car next to the huge aircon condenser/compressor for buildings (ive no other choice). So, my car is constantly wet from the liquid sprayed out from the thing. I was told that it contains alkali.
After 6 months parking there, my car paint & glass looks so dull. I've tried sending the car for detailing, but cant get make it shine like before And the glass area is still dirty - visibility is getting worst. Any advice on how to clean the glass, DIY? Ive tried using commercial glass cleaners, degreasers, bug remover, but nothing works. Appreciate your kind advice |

Rara,
I understand your situation.
You're talking about the massive, round "cooling tower" normally found on rooftop buildings. Due to the windy and open location, there's always a mist of water blowing out from these towers.
The water mist is continuously settling on yer car's hot paintwork, and after sometime, the minerals (especially calcium)in the water will etch/makan into the clearcoat, glass and every inch of the car's external surfaces. This is not something you can "polish" away. Detegents mainly work on organic stains. Mineral stains are not organic stains.
have to run now...very busy lately.
I'll pm you later on solutions to revive your ride into better than new. Dont' worry |

Spot on Bro, thanks a million. Ive wasted quite a bit of money doing detailing on the car, but the results were not satisfactory. |
