Just would like to suggest if there are any inventors who can produce a voice alert system whenever VTEC is activated while driveby something similar to the voice alert car alarm system which can be found in these two product (Cobra & Viper). The voice alert activation should sound something like this "VTEC ON !!!" or "VTEC ACTIVATED !!!" it can be either man's voice or lady's voice. I'm not sure if these has already been in the market , if there is kindly inform me where to get it and the cost. Thanks ...

Well , its just an idea ..... since there are lot of gadgets and sophisticated systems for cars in market , why not include something like this which could be the only car which has such system or gadget.

Hi maruwala & moksunab,
You know what ,I used to hear this type of jokes from my classmates when I was in standard 4 in primary school where those whom used to laugh on these jokes where the one or two kids surrounding the kid who created the joke (his friends)but the rest of the class including the teacher will be keeping a straight face staring at these 3 kids. Wise man says that most of the times ideas may take time to be absorbed into one's skull..but then it will be history...have a nice day..no hard feelings...

I think there's already such product on the market.. !
have you seen those bike and taxi fitted with those.. blow-off valve sound.. everytime they hit their brake .. or I don't know.
hihih.. taxi iswara also got sound - wheeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzze.. , motor also got that sound..  .
you want? just go to NKS Sentul.. enquire about such product. ask around bikers in that shop.. especially the scooter groupie.. they should know which product you're referring to.

I tell ya what ..try fitting those wheeeeeeeeeeeeezzeee sound into your car and give us the feedback on whether it is similar to what I have mentioned earlier if you would have read it properly with your eyez opened laaaaaaaaarrggeeee...!!!

I been in a eg9 that was equipped with a v-tec controller that used to give a double beep each time vtec came on. Cost about RM 800 i think but the sound was just a by product. That time only v-tec and i am not sure if you can meddle with I vtec.....

hah..!!At least there is someone (intelligent person) who understand what I'm talking about ...rather than some bunch who behaves like 10 year old kids with lame jokes and some "wheeeeeze" sound excited individual.
Well Siv_a thanks for the info , regards to the v-tec controller which you have mentioned , the product which I mentioned is also exactly the same concept and its also a by product but a more advanced with voice rather than a double beep. This product is not an important features for honda but merely an "accesories" . Bro..buzz me should you come across again with the similar product. Thanks again.

good idea bro... at least we'll know that our ivtec is activated rather than just guessing "VTEC dah bukak ke ni???" i would luv to hv this gadget in my car too... |
