Bro,
I hv seen many cases of lizards, ants and cockcroaches inside the car. If you suspect there's any of these cretins inside your FD:
1. Open all doors and boot+boot floor liner. Remove all loose personal belongings and mats. Leave car and items out in the hot sun.
2. Put 1 packet of insect repellant under each seat, and 1 in the boot. Leave car exposed for a few hours in hot sun with doors open. Any insects will be repelled.
3. Remove those repellant packets and use it in the home. Close car doors and boot immediately and always keep it closed
The only way for dear lizard to enter is mainly through the boot's rubber seals. Are the seals OK? Could hv come out or misaligned, causing a gap. Better remove boot floor liner and check for dampness cos if the lizard could get in, water could have gotten into the boot too.
Ants.
many customers have this problem, and even though there was no food leftovers/bits inside the car, there's still ants. My boys vacuumed and checked thoroughly, cleaned each piece of personal belonging inside the car, and still....there were ants coming in!!!!!!!!!!!! From where???
If you park always under trees, leaves will settle onto your wiper area. The leaves could have ants. These leaves, if not removed, will finally end up in your wheel arch area (vibration and gravity)...at the lowest point of the wheel arch/fender, next to the mudflap. When the fender's plastic liner was opened, wowww! there a clump of earth and lots of decomposed dried leaves It was moist and home to thousands of ants. These fellas will go strolling, and enter your cabin through any gaps.
So, if your FD is always parked under trees, always remove the leaves asap |
