I don't think he's an expert and hunter of expensive products. But still, the remarkable condition of his car shows what i call "true love". It's something that comes from long-term love and care, and not merely doing a huge detailing job and then expecting magic to happen.

Hey bro Pluto, me and Kenneth may be into proper care but bro Kelyee is a whole nother kind of CRAZY. His got a stash of detailing equipment that would put most car wash centres to shame hahahaha
BTW, I applied some Polyglaze Sealant to my CF hood after claying. I think that should be ok right? |
Yeah right! Kelyee is really over-the-top when it comes to his FD's appearance
For DIY use, and on a well-prepped surface such as yours, using Polyglaze prdts to maintain is perfectly OK. Just do it as often as possible, and pls be careful cos PGlaze could be a bit tough to buff off if applied to thickly. |

Thanks |
CKevin,
Very interesting...I've noticed the above for a long while. It's always the same few fellas. Don't be surprised, a few days later, a few "newly registered" members suddenly pop up from nowhere specifically to join the deer hunt.
Anyway, I prefer to spend what little time I hv, to give even higher-quality answers/assistance to forumers here. |

To those who were offended, please accept my apologies for my style of writing and choice of words. So difficult to change lah. Maybe I should just stop talking because my mother told me "when you have nothing good to say, just keep quiet" ?
Just to put on records, I have been mostly a passive reader all these while. I only budge in when someone tries to step on people's head to climb higher. Especially from someone in the same business. And I think for the same topic posted by sifu pluto 1-2 years ago, we had some lengthy discussion (something like "brainwashing" topic) which the landlord of this site was force to edit the title.
I have no personal grudge or ill feeling for sifu pluto personally. I haven't even met his before. Its his opinion that I disagree. Again, not saying his opinion is wrong
Ok ok, I should take my mother's advice if that is more appropriate.... |

Bro Jelly Chen, fyi, personally I do not feel offended with your posting at all.. I understand where you are coming from. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. So long as it is not personal attack, you can post your opinions.
Since you are in the same business (correct?), it would be good if you could also post and share with us on matters pertaining to car care and detailing as well. Could be your own experience, skills or even url links..
That way, members are exposed to info and knowledge from different source. And also you would be accused of only coming in to shoot certain ppl.
Happy posting _________________ Do not say things just to show you know what you are saying. Say things which only need to be said. |

Thanks coolride and netken for the kind comment
I'm an accountant actually . Nothing remotely connected to car detailing industry whatsoever. But my company is in a very competitive market (construction material). Due to extreme competition, "bad-mouth" by our competitor's sales people of our product is common. But we are given a marketing policy that we can only highlight to our customers the advantages of our products. We can never talk bad about our competitor's products. Because we know our customers are rational spender. They may be fooled once and the competitor may get the initial orders, but in the long run, eventually customers will realise they get what they pay for. And in the event customers feel that product A and product B is of the same quality and value, the deciding factor would be the way the salesman/company carries himself. And from our experience, customers would prefer to deal with people with good business etiqutte who wouldn't talk bad about their competitors.
My hobby is (was?) in ICE. That's what bugger netken ( ) is referring to. I admit I was a fool in ICE now because I am semi-retired now. Time to move on the other hobby like fishing
ok ok sorry for OTing in this thread...... |
