Last week, I watched a program on Astro called Modern Marvel featuring how automated car wash machinery are built and assembled in the US.
These machines are more high tech and sophisticated then the ones we have in MY. eg. separate rotating nozzle to spray the rims and tyres, multiple air blowers to dry the car. The show also explained how the machines and cleaning fabrics are manufactured and from what materials.
More interesting, at the end of the wash, at the final stages of cleaning after the vaccuming, there is a kiosk where the owner can select what type of fragrance they would like to spray into their car. eg. new car smell.
Yes, you can select to have a new car smell fragrance!!
There was also a segment where a pro detailer demonstrated how to remove intentionally added on tar, egg, bird dropping, glue and mixture of all sorts on the body of a Porsche.
Not suprisingly, the detailer is from Mothers, a well known brand in US.. and quite easy for him to remove the stain using exterior detailer spray, clay bar, cleaning wax, tar remover. Of course, ppl can say this is a promo gimmick etc etc but is quite interesting to see how a pro does it.
