I registered myself into their website --- took a long time. I messaged the russian guys to see if he managed to find a permanent solution. He said, until today, he still didn't find it but said he heard someone in Japan did it -- as in there is a firmware tuning method to tune the default EQ to Flat setting. However, he couldn't find the lubang for this solution...

iirc, dsp off, the audio behaves "normally"(without extra thump from bass)
dsp flat, the audio behaves"extraordinary"(with more loudness from speakers plus more bass, but more muted treble)

No. Stock is using a DSP EQ that tones down the capability of rear speakers to balance with stock front speakers. If you turn to DSP FLAT, you're turning the HU to the right setting to feed into the AMP if you have one. DSP FLAT is also known as NATURAL Preset EQ.

Moral of the story, they gave us shitty front speakers, and 50 cents tweeters, and had to tune down the rear speakers so it would sound balanced in a wide range of music condition.

To illustrate this, choose a track like Michael Jacksons, "You want to be starting something" that has lots of bass. Keep playing the music throughout this exercise, listening to it carefully. Then turn off the player, press 4 and 6 together, turn on, set to DSP FLAT. Continue listening to the music so you're aware of the current playing levels of each speaker. Then ... Twisted Evil turn off, and turn on the player. The song will continue from where it left off, and you will immediately see the difference of before and after.

Also note in this TURBO BOOSTED mode, your bass and mid band will start over-powering your high band of your stock speakers. I guess this is why the stock EQ setting is tuned down. Hence, the rear speakers aren't really that bad to begin with. But its sad cos its like having 500 horse powers under the booth, and then purposely turning off 300 horse powers because the car chassis can only handle 200hp.

WTF???

car got secret code like this??? i wonder if those f**kers in HM even know this?

how come HM treat us like Gomen treat us? dun give a f**k to inform us got such features?

now raining, if not i go straight 2 my car n blast those speakers

BTW, if our rear speakers r better then jz adjust more balance to rear or even 100%

because in audio world, its only 2 speakers stereo system not 'surround' sound like in theatres

Try pressing VSA button, AIR-CON OFF, Brakes, in Gear S mode while pressing the steering CRUISE button ... 155hp -> 205 hp Razz
