Thats odd, provided you really applied de emergency brakes. I guess you better have your ABS check. As far as i ve always heard from past threads, our ABS is extra sensitive. Even on rough patches of road, if your are travelling even at 60 kmh and you apply your brakes suddenly, de ABS kicks in. Members who ve experienced it say you feel your brake pedals kicking back .and a gggrrrrr feeling on yr feet. What say members???

Its very easy to trigger our ABS imho. I activated it from time to time to get used to the feeling because in most of the cases, people will back off from the brake pedals once they feel the vibrations.

Yes agree with all the civic ABS very sensitive. Even braking on uneven road will cause the ABS to kick. Can feel the vibration.

i think you guys are trying on dry roads...try on wet roads see whether it locks your tyre or not.

Mine when i tested during the wet road my tyres locks and start sliding...better check before the waranty ends...

Allow me to ask a silly question. Don't you guys wondering, is the vibrate on pedal really ABS? Why is it only proved on uneven road surface? How does ABS feel on normal good road condition? Rolling Eyes

The reason i asked is because many bros here (including me) only feel and proved ABS work when the tyres run over uneven surface. Take a looks again on above posts. Idea

Besides, how to proved that the "traction control" is working? When I got my FD2, I usually see the light linking whenever went through water surface. But its hard to see once recently. A bit worry also. And believe that SC sure will say "its working" one.

Yes it is the same. How I know, I went for safety driving course. On normal road, had to break 60-0 in shortest distance. So pretty sure how ABS feels. Also did VSA test by going around a corner very hard at 80kmh both with and without VSA. Big difference.
