Bro, actually, I think I made a mistake. The marking is a <- symbol and does not have the word "rotation" on it. I think my older tyres did (GY RS), not the assymetrics. _________________ Manifesting a Dream |

Yup, sorry about that. The image was on my mind very clear, but since I change tyres 3 times this year, all mixed up between the two GYs I've used this year. _________________ Manifesting a Dream |

I believe both models are available in Malaysia. Have used the GSD3 before. IMO, its noisy, especially during corners. Otherwise, it handles rather well in normal conditions. Doesn't fare too well in extreme driving. Depends on what you are looking for and driving habits/styles. |

The assymetrics handle better in the wet. That's the purpose of the grooves.
Why so many people confused about grooves? Only got 1 version right? Never seen such questions for any other tyres. _________________ Manifesting a Dream |

Dunno what that tyre is above with continuous thread -- what modal exactly it is. One likelihood is it could be a thicker version for larger sizes like 245/20/R19. Since an assymetric tyre grooves have different purposes it may not make sense to just elongate grooves as they get wider. |
bro blue, i think u got a point there. as u said, perhaps it's for larger tyre. thanks dude
bros,
what is the likely treadwear for f1 asy? 40,000km? city and highway cruising with minimal hard braking. _________________ Love my car and enjoy driving |

You can check your tyre for treadware markings...
Mine says 240 (for 225) but I think. Can't go out to check in my sexy pijamas for now to be sure.
After you know what's your rating, you can check here:

Looks for tyre wear thread rating ... and my feeble attempt to convert it to average km. _________________ Manifesting a Dream |
