Dear guys,

I m planning to tint my FD2 with Wingard security film.
There are 3 choices:-

FWS using Sun Barrier SB70 - Vlt 70%, Uvr 99%, Irr 90% + the below tints for side and rear.

1) Wingard Royale - Vlt 60%, Uvr 99%, Irr 90% - RM2,100 nett
(10 years warranty)

2) Wingard Metro - Vlt 55%, Uvr 99%, Irr 75% - RM1500 nett
(5 years warranty)

3) Wingard Classic - Vlt 60%, Uvr 99%, Irr 63% - RM1200 nett
(5 years warranty)

I m currently quite undecided between Royale and Metro. Is Irr of 75% will be still hot? I have tried the 90% Irr which was good. Will there be much differents between both? Pls do advice which one should I go for and whether the pricing is reasonable?

Went mine with the Royale.. not panas at all. But make sure they do tint WinGard on your front screen as well. The standard package is not. Front windscreen is the most vulnerable and dare i say, nipis. easily cracked..

Thanks 4 the advice. I did also heard the same from others 2. Atlast I decided 2 scrap the Wingard idea and go 4 Ecotint Raybarrier (full) 4 my FD2. I heard very good reviews on Raybarrier which has 95% IRR. Overall Spec seems 2 b equivalent 2 V-kool Elite but more reasonable pricing.

my Sa giving me this as FOC deal.....since its 4mil security film i might as well take it and later add another layer of normal good tint.
