Laughing I ask cos my wife had problem driving the car with SB on. It was too responsive for her, especially since she drives with her heels on. This is more for the car that is driven by only one person. The gadget blends well into the overall system -- plug and play -- and even contributes to ECU learning. But this means there is a "learning curve", and whenever a driver gets into to drive, they may get scared. Even the SC once refused to drive my car cos they were scared.

Other option is pivot 3 drive Smile Same price also mah. Can set, can turn on and off the boost, plus got eco mode some more. but having used both products, each got its pros and cons. so it depends on individual preference and needs. maybe if got time, I write a review ... but these days busy ... Confused

I've tested SB on friend FD2, very good respone if i'm in Racing mood. Scary for 1st time on SB if i want to park the car.
Will like to ask, if compare SB with Pivot SP7 which is more responsive & better perform ?

I think SB performs better and has better charachteristics when you're racing or pushing your car to the max. SP7 is a bit too linear for my taste -- I find SP5 has better character -- but then not as boosted compared to SB. I don't think SB adds on any HP in reality. I think the difference is the throttle boost envelope shape and the fact that SB has its throttle values that are not linear and more learned compared to a constant linear curve that SP7 offers.

What do I mean by linear? Without these devices installed, if you press the pedal all the way to max, the acceleration you feel is exactly the same if you do the same thing with P3D on SP7. It only makes a difference "in between" the o-100% of the throttle pedal. For SB, there is a slight increase in max acceleration.

If you're racing though, both SP7 and SB will get you to high speeds quickly, afterwhich, they are no longer useful cos they don't add any hp. What they're useful for during racing is that they completely reduce/remove throttle response delay.

With the SB, when you're not racing (which would be most of the time), you really have to train your foot to get slower response when required, like traffic, parking lots etc.
