Different Btw Normal FD and FD2R Side Mirror

Bros,

Does anyone know what is the different btw normal FD and FD2R side mirror? With or without the retracking motor?

Can it be installed to our normal FD1/FD2 where the with the same mounting and cables?

Has anyone installed before to their FD1/2 before?

Mind to share knowledge who has.

Hi bro...

From what i understand (my 2 sen worth may not be 100% accurate though)...

1. older batch of FD2R mirrow is without retracting motor but the newer batch i think 2009 has it..
2. FD2R mirror housing is thinner or slimmer than FD1/2 by almost 1/4 to 1/2...

Other more detail difference maybe need some taiko's advice... Twisted Evil
