Hey guys...
On the first day of CNY, as I was walking to my car to go visiting with my family, I saw very bad scratches on my car front bumper and also the front left light. And all thanks to my dog who apparently jumped on my car maybe because he saw a cat and the cat was running away and perhaps it was on my car. sigh... anyways, I bought polish to try to remove those marks which did give some result. Unfortunately there are still scratches on it and I was just wondering if you guys could suggest any place besides Honda SC which can help me remove these scratches.. a place which offers reasonable price and is honest. I doubt I can do anything bout the light besides changing the cap since it's the cap that is scratched. So disappointed, I'm upset and angry with my dog but I'm also doubting Honda's quality. It has never happened to any of my parents' cars.
I am so heartbroken.... sigh....
Looking forward to any of your replies... thanks guys... |

hi eewah,
I'm not sure how deep your scratches are. There are few good polish in the market which you could try.One of them which I could recommend would be the Turtle wax colour cure polish. Comes in various colours together with a "lipstick" to "cover up" the scratches. It's supposed to hide scratches and improve colour. Available in all leading supermarkets. If still cannot remove or scratches still evident, I'm afraid you need to respray the part. |

One product I strongly recommend is meguiar's ScratchX. You can check it out at Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | There should be some tutorials on that. I've managed to remove cobwebs and even some mediocore scratches with this product. |

Yearh, Meguairs Scratch-X works wonders, will definitely masks the scratches (if its not too deep)..best to do it one step at a time...but thereafter you've got to apply the Gold Class Wax or something similar to bring back the gloss and ensure the affected area is protected.
Tried Turtle wax initially (black color), the color faded a little, but Meguairs Paint Restorer (or something like that) brought back the shine...highly recommended |
