What for take the hassle just send to your SC during service and do all together. Unless you yourself are mechanic.

If Honda Malaysia wants every car it sold in Malaysia to change ATF every 20KM, then it can change the manual.

Why until 2008 the manual also said you need to change ATF at 60KM? Afterall, the manual is printed in Malaysia, not in the Republic of the Congo.

Hi bros,

I am going for my 20k service this weekend, the SC people said that I need to change the ATF.

She quoted me RM38/bottle....and I need 3 bottles.....which is 3liter....is this true and how about the price?
Is it reasonable or expensive?

Better not wait till 60k but if change at 20k definitely the sc will be very happy. When i flush out my trans oil at 45k already black. The oil dipstick is not accurate reflection of cleanliness, it might look clear red but in the inner reaches of the transmission the situation is differerent.

i wish to differ on the oil requirement for 2.0.

If you look at the booklet manual provided, for 2.0, you need 2.7litre of oil change only. so 3 bottles of ATF-Z1 is sufficient. I did my 40k service today, and required only 3 bottles, the cost already 80 plus.

Though the manual says 60k kms. Based on most of our style driving, it's fair to go for change every 40k kms.
