Hi all, need advice about send my FD to polish.I got my used FD few day n i found out got many swirl n tiny scarcth so i used soft 99 metaclean to polish rear bonnet by hand n result wise but spend around 1 hour just for rear bonnet Sad .I call the SA n complain the swirl n scracth n he tell me to have a polish at his panel workshop for F.O.C.The question is will the polish machine strip my car paint? Now i dilemma wanna send to workshop or DIY my self.If DIY whole car with my own hand will be very tired n spend whole day doing it.. Crying or Very sad

Whoa the swirls looked really bad but are you sure it wasn't like that to begin with? Cuz swirl marks are more obvious under certain lightning and condition.

bro, feel sorry for u. I believe should send ur car to professional detailing outlet instead of those in the car park or normal car wash. It will make a big different if u sent to detailing center. After all, they do call them self detailing center for no reason.

If u r in KL, may be u need to pay Albert aka Pluto for a visit. He will be the right man to advise or impress u.

Bro, since your from JB, should give Keanu7997 aka Melvin a call for recomendation. He should know where to get a decent polish and wax hehe. BTW, I would not suggest you use the Swirl remover that often cause if Im not mistaken, that actually thins out the layer of laquer on your car and without the proper protection after doing so, your paint work may be become muddy and blurry very soon under out bolehland sun.

Best to do a professional detailing job and after applying the sealant NOT wax, that would probably protect it for quite a while. After that, some DIY home jobs will do the trick to mantain it hehe.

BTW, all sealant and waxs need to cure for about 12 hours otherise any contact with water would make the wax a wasted job hehe Very Happy

Anyways, wheres bro Albert? Can get his take would be much better hehe Very Happy
