17" Sounds about right. From the list, the 17" civic Type R is 20.2lb or about 9.18kg. 11kg is too heavy. FD2 17" rim is supposed to be taken from the Ep3R

The 1st badge FD 2 weight was 1305 kg, after they upgraded to 17" rims weight become 1315kg, there was 10 kg increase of weight, the differences is only rims, tyre & additional of air-con filter. So I estimate the rim is arround 11 kg.

Oh ok....Although HM won't admit it they changed a few parts when they upped to 17" as well.

Thanks all bros that answered the query.

Looks like our stock FD2 17" OEM rims aren't that bad at all. Only the look might not suit some that want a more garang profile.

Still in hunting mode for a good RIM that offers both lightweight, garang looks, and affordable on the wallet Razz
