Saw it at Speedworks. Basically its a cylinder thingy that wraps around your fuel line and thats it. It claims that there's 20% increase in HP & torque when installed in a Satria NEO 1.6 Shocked

and this product also claims to save fuel, reduce harmful emission, etc.
Sounds a little too good to be true.

Would love to hear from any Bros who have tried this.
Thanks for sharing Wink

I am writing this based on my understanding thru the website and also my experience on such devices.

I have browse thru the website provided and read thru the section "how it works". I strongly believe it is the same device that appear in Taiwan market roughly two years ago, which is claimed to be using nanotechnology to save petrol and increase power output.

My senior and my ex-boss did purchased this sort of device just to give it a try and it cost about rm200 for his Nissan Cefiro and my senior's Toyota Vios. Besides this, they do also FOC us a can of nanotechnology paint which were used to paint the fuel tank. After one month of testing on normaly daily driving routine, they can't even save 0.1% of their petrol based on their record and ofcoz power wise just forget about it.

So basically, this device won't really help much.

Just my 2 cents worth of opinion...

I used it, and got 50km less. Shocked

blue, its very hard to determine whether u get more mileage or less, becoz u will nvr drive in the exact conditions twice, ie. same road, same traffic, same speed.....etc all these vary the mileage

since I got my FD2, i've been getting like 350km to 420km on city roads n 480 to 550km on highways for full tanks

how to prove that the device is really working? u can't, unless u do a controlled environment experiment ie. lab test/ dyno run in this case; u fix the variation n make them constants.

however, thinking logically, if a mere small thing like this can do so much, why would those R&D engineers tried so hard but only manage to make engines just a little bit more green but never install such devices?

Lastly, many ppl will buy a product only when they believe it works.... since they believe in it, whether it really works or not is not relevant as our mind can easily dominates us

bro, my life very boring one. I live in Klang, go Cyber to work and back. All the same roads, most weeks. Very rarely deviate. I've been consistently getting 470km per 40 litres for the last 1 year, so very easy to notice large differences. If 470 suddenly drops to 400 ... easy to notice.

I think each car and driver has unique driving and performance carachteristics. On an individual basis at least, with all other parameters being equal, I do believe the individual can note differences that are large enough. Maybe 1-10km a bit hard. But more than 30 becomes easy to identify.

20% power increase?

To put that into figures, that would be like increasing and FD1's power (140bhp) to 168bhp. You can't even achieve that kind of gains, if you add another 200ccs by swapping the R18A for a K20Z2 (*Only* 155bhp).

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually isn't...! Very Happy
