ABS kicks in too frequent?

Hi,

Anyone encounter the ABS kicks in very frequent?

I notice my ABS kicks in whenever i speed and i just press the brake pedal. The ABS kick in every time.

Will be due to i change my front rotor and brake pad to Project MU?

Please advise.

4 piece new tires...only use for 3 to 4 months only

Well, brakepad can't affect anything. I'm using the same brakepads as you ... no issues. I takut maybe something installed not right, so car confused thinking you're skidding.

No Sir - it is not because of the front rotor or the brake pad that u change to PMU.

I have changed to PMU disc and pad before, behaviour is still the same.

Now on BBK - also the same. Nothing to worry about bro.

Tried FD1 and FD2, both are the same, ABS kicks in early. Drive to 120Km/h and just try to slow down quickly, not emergency brake. Please make sure no cars behind when you are testing this, you dont want to be kissed Laughing

esp. when going through tarmac roads with slight sand or dirt ... ABS kicks in ....

My ABS kicks in even when I'm going over bumps and unevens road if it's going too fast when i brake.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Initially i am worry cause my fren told me if ABS kicks in very frequent mean the ABS going to be faulty soon.

yeah but not only dat, when going thru small pot holes or brick roads (like in Damansara uptown) will engage ABS too

getting used to it liao.....IMHO, it doesnt affect braking performance, but upgrading stock brakes is a must - at least pads....

Seems to kick in more often when braking with stock springs. Almost never happens when I was on eibachs. Must be related somehow to the suspension setup.
