hi all,

this heppan just after wash the K&N filter, i sent to SC to check and the device showing tranmission shift error, they clear the error and after awhile the "D" blinking again..however the SC cant check further for me due to hari raya eve close at 1pm..the car nothing wrong, just only jerking when push from "N" to "D"

i going to genting highland later, my worries is car will break down half way.

anyone face the samiliar prob b4 ? any advise ?

Have ur car drove pass any flood area or so? Did happen to my previous ride which is an Auto transmission too, D is not blinking but from N to D it will jerk quite harsh. Found out water sips in..

sounds like you have a short circuit in you wiring or TCM malfunction

normally D blinking is caused by short circuit in SCS

check your wirings

yup, friday evening heavy rain in KL and pass thru some flood area

now the problem become more worst, not only D blinking now the "N" & "S" light always on too, paddle shift malfunction also, downhill wont auto shift low gear as well..pening la

however thanks for your guys infor, at lease i know what caused the problem

bro fritz, mind to share hows ur problem been solved ? which SC ?

I did not bother to fix my ride as I need it and my house is lack of cars that time. So, after a few days driving, the problem eventually gone.

But yours seems getting serious? U need SC to check...

I have same problem with my Stream before, D blinking, reset the ECU everything ok, but the problem occurred again, the jerking is cost by rubber engine mounting. Change it and problem solve. But that one is 2002 car and the problem is in 2007, about 5 years interval.

thanks for sharing ..

mine confirm is transmission sensor malfunction, kena air, they replace it and everythings fine now..

advise to to all civic owner here, be carefull at the flood area, the sensor cost 500 to 600 if not under waranty.

Do you mind sharing where is the location of the AT sensor? How vulnerable is it?

this kind of things always happen on my conti ride last time,, its because it have breading hole, and whenever the car run thru flood of water, the water will masuk into the hole,,

hi,

not sure where but mech said it located quite low thats y easy kena air.

however the blinking stop after few days while waiting the stock arriving, anyhow i still go SC to change it la
