Will wait until singing n then totally change new shoes.. rim+tyre. Plan to go for Toyo C1S. But don't know, should i maintain 16" or go for 17".. hmmm... now really hate this NCT5

Sch550, what milleage that makes your current set of tyre with humming sound?

It starts at 40k.. Did the fender soundproofing. Can bit reduce but still irritate with the loud tyre noise and humming... lousy tire quality.. Grrrrr

hmmm mine only whoongg whoongg sound .. just went to the tire shop i bought my rims and tires they claimed it is the tire sound .. nothing to do with the bearing or rims itself .. think i will just need to bear with it then .. hopefully it goes away after i have heat up the tire enough .. maybe after 5000k of mileage Cool

p/s: iceburn = LeeJMarcus. My previous account got some issue Cool

Tyre itself quality not good, getting harder and uneven + one absorber start leaking, only manage to claim absorber.

Anyone who manage to claim the tyre in this situation? Reason being tyre uneven wore was due to faulty part.

SC mechanic found it eventually. You can try it yourself by pressing your left boot couple of times, right boot couple of times and should you feel one side softer (which I didn't feel it), likely absorber gone.

Unfortunately can only claim one side, HM policy?

SC said 1 absorber cost RM300+ for one. What is the side impact of getting 1 side senget? Will this cause alignment/balancing issue?
