For your case, go to the golf club, see the manager, show him the dent, tell him the cost to repair, and ask him to reimburse. Wether or not kena other people's head is not your problem ma. Your problem is the dent in the car. Ask politely and let us know how it goes. worth a try. I've managed to claim many times like this for various things.

I just went to KGPA but the security head is on leave..as usual an excuse i think..the harder thing is the KGPA is a government club...i think it's quite hard to claim...but they ask me to write the lost&found report about my car thingy..then they'll call..if they don't call i will call them...ofcos i told them politely. Really hope the do something about it...this sat im goin to Puchong Denting shop "jerry wong" there see see what they can do. Will update u guys..

You may also make a police report..I think this is more viable..This is similar when your house was broke by robber, of course you will make police report..

At least when you show this police report to KGPA Management, they will need to do something or else the case will remain open..

Go and do report as soon as possible..

Firstly 700++ just sounds so expensive. I hope the Puchong place you're going to can give something more decent.

I was quoted 2K in Klang to spray my entire car from blue to Type R white. 700 is like 30% cost of spray whole car meh?

Secondly, sounds like this club not gonna take you seriously. As bro Faiz said, make a police report -- tell the cops, you intend to make a claim from the golf coarse. Then submit a copy to the club and request for them to cover your repair cost.

*sigh* sorry you need to go through all this bro. Cest La Vie! Smile

Check with the club, may be you can claim through their insurance.
Every pro golfer has golf insurance incase their ball hit some one on green field. I believe the club shall have that too.
Give a try.

As a golfer for the past 6 years, I concur with Civic Mugen, all clubs have their insurance and a claim is definately possible. Sometimes, even netting doesnt help as the golf ball when hit wayward, spins in all kinds of directions.

Police report is not neccessary as its just a small incident, go to the club and request to be reimbursed for the damage and it shouldnt be a problem at all. That hole is a very daunting hole as I have played it before, so golf balls pulled to the left in the direction of the petrol station is quite common, Im sure the golf club frequently gets the same types of claims.

BTW, I changed the topic of your thread bro, as KGPA is Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam and not Selangor club which is located at Jalan Tun Razak and is actually named Royal Selangor Golf Club, dont want to be accused of defamation right hehe Very Happy

Good luck in the claim bro and try not to be too hard on them as golf is a very weird game where the ball is not really under control Cool

No problem bro, thats why everytime I sure think twice before pumping petrol there, let alone pumping air where there is no canopy protection. Anyways, just consider your self seriously unlucky as I know for a fact that the chances of a golf ball denting a car on the highway is like 3.5million to one Cool

Good luck on the repairs bro Very Happy
