cheap is cheap la using lamination but becos of our hot tropical weather.... all forms of lamination will create air bubbles. so when tat happens its just a waste of time.

but see the Spoon CF roof aiyo ... saliva sudah meliur-liur leh ....

True..CF sticker lamination wouldn't last long & only for aesthetic purposes...

IMO, roof actually one of the easiest 'car body part' to be mould..

if u have CF/FRP body part.. no need SP it ..
cos CF itself.. don't actually emit lots of 'sound'..
(unless it knocks to some 'metal' thing..)
take 'smartfortwo' or 'smartforfour' for instance.. doors & other bodyparts made out of FRP wor..

something got to do with it's material entity.. i think.. (must related to physic)..

unlike metal..the 'vibration' is a lot more.. thus transmit lots of 'sound'..

some experiment..

try throw a stone over a plastic board.. can only hear 'short'.. THUD!! sound

on the other hand, try to throw stone over a 'metal sheet' board.. hahaha..!!

Since most members seems 'gila' bout CF, i wonder is there any car (custom made la) which 100% CF body, not just the bonnet or roof or spoiler only. Would it look nice with 100% CF Rolling Eyes

Fully CF is quite common in Japan GT or other Touring Car Championship...

But in reality i saw one EG last time with CF door (bothside), CF boot, CF Bonnet and CF fender...looks weird.... Confused

but just to check as well, would heat have any problem? I.e. after leaving the car in the sun, would it be hotter in the car? Maybe not since metal is an excellent heat conductor....whaddya think?

Why not we wait till Mugen RR experimental spec lauch first. After that, we sure have how it will looks like when we put replaced our steel body parts with CF Very Happy
