THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $ 27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

Because the room is now RM 25, each person now pays RM 8.3333. However the room price is now RM 28 because actual room price + (RM 1 x 3 persons) = RM 28. Everyone did not pay RM 9 for each room and instead paid RM 9.33333.

no, dudes! The answer is:

the room cost 25. each man paid 9 after receiving their change. so.... they paid 27 in all. The 2 bucks that the bell boy took, is from 27-25=2. Nothing to do with 30 already.

But you asked where is the remaining dollar? My answer mentioned that each of the customer paid $0.33 more than stated so 3 persons will equate to $1.

Yours mention more on how the bellboy get the $2.
