A young Indon maid in a high class home in Damansara wanted an increase. The “Mum” (lady of the house) was very upset about
this and asked: "Now Nora, why do you want an increase?"
Nora: "Well Mum, there are three reasons why I want an increase, the
first is that I iron better than you."
Mum: "Who said you iron better than me?"
Nora: "The Master ( the lady’s old husband ) said so."
Mum: "oh."
Nora: "The second reason is that I am a better cook than you."
Mum: "nonsense, who said you were a better cook than me?"
Nora: "the Master did."
Mum: "oh."
Nora: "My third reason is that I am a better lover than you."
Mum (very upset now): "did the old Master say so as well?"
Nora: "no mum, the Indon gardener did."

( Moral of the story : It is not always that the master is after the maid …it could be the
other way around )

The maid should get a fair increase for another reason too.....good english speaking skill!

I think the maid will get the increase because she don't want the maid appeal to the master and repeating the same 3 reaons
